Problem Number One is that they don't get enough website visitors - or traffic, in marketing-speak.

In an effort to get more visitors, you could end up spending a small fortune in Pay-per-click advertising, to get a few dozen clicks to your site, and a couple of enquiries.

The problem with that approach is that you might be sending people to a website which is intrinsically broken.

If there are technical issues with your website, the poor User Experience (more marketing jargon) might put people off rather than encourage them to contact you.

Problem Number Two is that once people are on your site, they don't engage with your business.

If your website has no strong Call to Action, your visitors might just have a look, then click away.

Many business websites offer few ways for visitors to engage with them - usually nothing but a phone number and a contact form.

And there's seldom any motivation to engage.
